Lina is a circus artist, aerialist, and performer, born and raised in Athens (Greece). She is active in the circus world since 2015 specializing in aerial hoop and aerial silks.
    In 2019 and after finishing her studies in Civil Engineering (MSc), she moved to Portugal to study contemporary circus arts at the Instituto National de Artes do Circo (INAC) with the discipline of Lyra (Aerial Hoop).

    During these 3 years in Portugal, she has attended workshops and seminars with well-known circus, theater, and performing artists such as Roberto Magro, Rui Leitão, Iara Gueller, and Iliana Atamaniuk.
    Lina has participated in collective creations of circus and physical theater with great directors such as Marianna de Sanctis, Jorge Lix, Victor Abreu, and Antonia Vasilakou.

    She has performed in various events and festivals such as Festival Vaudaville Rendez-Vous (PT), Circo de Papel (PT),  Antivaro Festival (GR), àmostra | Circo Contemporâneo (PT) Gala de Circo | CM Albergaria-a-Velha (PT).

    During the academic year of 2021-2022, she created her first professional project of contemporary circus "Synesthesia" which has presented at Casa das Artes Famalicao for àmostra | Circo Contemporâneo, and at Cinetheatro Alba for Gala de Circo. In addition "Synesthesia" has been chosen and provided from the FEDEC's project "Cosmic" as an inspirational work for circus schools and students.
